No matter what your yogic goals are, our classes are designed to help you achieve them at an optimal pace. We teach yoga in its comprehensive form, hence classes are not categorized into any particular style of yoga say hatha, viniyasa, ashtanga, power yoga or kundalini. Instead, the classes focus on providing you with a complete yoga experience that is elevating yet soothing to the senses.
Bharat Thakur has personally trained all the teachers who conduct Artistic Yoga classes. Each class introduces innovative sequences of asanas (postures), pranayam (breathing techniques), bandhas (neuro-muscular locks), kriyas (cleansing techniques) and mudras (hand gestures). A distinct aspect is ‘partner stretching’ wherein postures are assisted by a partner, resulting in improved flexibility (by about 60 percent). In each class 2 specific body parts are worked upon together with a particular aspect/s of fitness - strength, endurance, flexibility, agility, balance & co-ordination combined with optimal cardio work. This ensures that one does not need to do anything else to keep healthy and fit!
Artistic Yoga emphasizes overall training of the body and mind, be it physical fitness, figure correction and weight loss or stress-relief and meditation.
Suitable for all level of participants, batches comprise of 10-25 students ensuring individual attention to every participant. Classes are conducted with a musical background in an environment that will motivate everyone to enjoy and perform to the best of their abilities! Our aim is to help and encourage students to adopt yoga as a part of their lifestyle and not something to adhere to merely for the duration of the class. About Artistic Yoga Instructors
All the instructors of Artistic Yoga are personally chosen by Bharat Thakur and undergo a four year training program comprising theory, practicals and a six month apprenticeship. The training imparts an in-depth knowledge and scientific understanding of how yoga affects the various systems in human body, modern systems of fitness, yoga therapy, and psychic physiology of yoga and meditation techniques. Every instructor has their own inimitable style of teaching and introduces creative variations and dynamic flows during the class which is unique to Artistic Yoga.
